Excellent band... well dressed, well ordered, well trained.

Parade held on the 2nd. City officers determined that if the parade were held on the fourth (a Sunday this year), that attendance would be down.

The LBGTQIA group had a robust representation in the parade. We residents have to be very proud of Park City's reputation for inclusiveness.

To be sure, the active proselytizing during the parade by the LBGTQIA group added a new wrinkle to the parade experience. LBGTQIA activists were distributing small rainbow flags to all takers, including, small children. These ubiquitous rainbow flags provided a colorful complement to the many, similar sized American flags being proudly waved along the parade route.

It was good to see elected city leaders marching with the LBGTQIA group, lending their endorsement to LBGTQIA proselytizing at the parade.

Inclusiveness and proselytizing. Its an interesting and promising concept! Park City should amplify this theme in next year's parade to include a broader array of other interest groups, thereby putting even greater emphasis on the town's proud (pun intended!) reputation for inclusiveness.

For example, the LDS, a beloved and prominent group in our community, could have a parade entry with LDS missionaries passing out Books of Mormon to parade goers as they march proudly (pun intended) down the parade route. Similarly, the Jehovah's Witnesses marchers could distribute Watchtower tracts. Parade marching members of the Park City Gun Club, upholding their rights under the Second Amendment by carrying openly as they march, could distribute vouchers good for free shooting lessons. There are many other groups which could strengthen even more Park City's well deserved reputation for inclusiveness.

Hats off to the energetic LBGTQIA group for showing us the way for next year's parade!

TiMDT and Mwah (sic) got the same place as last year... right under the bursts. Freddie was a little flummoxed by the first explosions, but, he settled down when he sensed that we didn't seem to be worried about the noise.

Independence Day. 2021.

Nation under siege from within. No tolerance for diversity of thought. No value placed on human life, especially preborn life. Rule of law erodes. Rise of violent crime. Zombie economy propped up by money printing gives illusion of prosperity. Engineered undermining of core constitutional values via contrived race wars, fake news, and induced monetary inflation. Fraudulently elected leadership who sees as it's charge the managed decline of the evil United States. Hunker down. Prepare. Think and act local. Look to your own.
