Picto Diary - 01, 02, 03 December 2020 - How to achieve immortality.

When out and about in your Sprinter, Class B RV, it is important to avoid low hanging branches.

These are branches from a tree in Marfa, TX. Cruising, a few weeks ago, on a low lit street, after dark, while looking for our RV park, I learned a lesson about driving tall vehicles.

I learned of Glen's February 2020 passing accidentally, just last week, while filling out an online, pre appointment questionnaire from Glen's U of U colleague, Dr. Douglas Powell.

Our mutual parents were very close friends. Glen's dad, John, was our family physician when I was growing up in Provo, Utah. I am fifteen years older than Glen, so I didn't know him well.

Immortality, I believe, is achieved through rearing productive, successful offspring. In that sense, in my mind's eye, Glen's parents, John and Dorothy, whom I did know well, remain very much alive as reflected in the life, viewed from the small window of this video, of a successful, beloved son, and his own family.

I regret not knowing Glen better and extend my condolences to his surviving family members. I recommend the appended short video to all as a window into a life well lived with its back story of family Immortality.
