Out and about in the 392. Freddie raced 300 yards to receded reservoir bed to bring us back this present. It appears that newfies have the retriever instinct, but that it is not yet very well developed.

Above: 30/40 Krag. Park City, UT 08 October 2022. My father's deer rifle, passed along to me in my teens. The rifle make has a storied history. Production was from 1890 to 1899. Was used by US troops in the Spanish American War. Produced in large quantities, guns were shipped by the US Army to Finland when the US Army adopted the Enfield rifle during WWI. Image shows gun being cleaned for likely the first time in 80 years.
