08 12 62. Yard sale on Lucky Jack. Ungroomed run, trough at the bottom, unseen in flat light. Went flying at 20 mph. Soft snow. Good Samaritans retrieved equipment. Not hurt but sat in the snow for two minutes to gather my senses. Après ski with friends at Steins was nice.

Bob Wells. 95. Citi from 1952 to 1971. LDS missionary companion to Citi legend, Bill Farnsworth.

Frank Richards. Park City based friend of Bill Farnsworth.

David Wells. Son of Bob Wells and friend of Mark Gasser.

Steve Taylor. Boss of Mark Gasser. Citi acquaintance of Bill Farnsworth. Friend of Frank Richards.

Bob Wells, father of Charlene Wells, Miss America, 1985 and four other kids. Fabulous Bob Wells stories recounted to be remembered recounted by Bob at lunch:

As LDS missionary in Buenos Aires in 1947, Bob Wells boldly... forcefully...persuaded manager of Citibank, Buenos Aires to give LDS Church favorable exchange rate for funds transfers.

1952. Bob Wells leapfrogged his reluctant bosses to go directly to Citi CEO Stillman Rockefeller to seek first class travel equivalent reimbursement for flying his own private plane from NYC to his first Citi assignment in Buenos Aires. Stillman Rockefeller reportedly said, "Bob Wells, you've been very persuasive. You're a very impressive young man. I think you could get to Buenos Aires in a canoe if you put your mind to it! Your request for equivalent first-class travel reimbursement to fly your own plane from NYC to Buenos Aires is granted!"
