Kristen and Kirby beat us to the punch by six months as St. George part time residents. Kristen pays us a welcoming visit at our Sprinter location, Snow Canyon State Park. 04 February 2021

TIMDT in her element: her own sheets. Princess and the Pea. Sprinter opens up a whole new range of traveling possibilities.

Tushar twelves. Wasatch are only elevens. Uintah's are thirteens. I'll be skiing in Tushars, at Eagle Point, within the hour!
Tushars. Obscure, but magic, majestic, Utah range. If you could flat iron the lower 48, Utah would be the state with the largest landmass. Wallace Stegner. "Mormon Country."

I've been by these mountains, riding or driving on I-15 many times. One summer, ten or more years ago, I rode the bike up to the ski resort for a looksee. Stopped for a minute and returned. The road up, UT SR 153, is narrow and twisty as it climbs to an elevation of 10.5K feet.

In summer, UT SR 153 is open, to cross the Pahvant range into Junction, Piute County.

Spot the Sprinter?

There TIMDT and Freddy laze while Bishop skis Eagle Point in the spectacular twelves...the Tushar Mountains. Mt. Holly, 12,001 feet, is in the background.

Eagle Point marks Bishop's third Ma 'n Pa ski resort this season (first, Pine Creek, WY and second, Beaver Mountain, UT).

Upper section (easy) and lower section (challenging). Skied from upper section to lower section, but, no lift back up to top. Shuttle available to get from lower to upper.
Four operating lifts today.

Shuttle driver says big bucks owner buys Eagle Point four years ago. Now 12K acres, he wants to buy another 5K acres. Lift to gain access from bottom section to top section in planning stages.

Bishop notes significant condo and home/cabin building activity throughout area.

Bishop blindsided by run which requires 1/2 mile walk up modest groomed trail. I didn't mind it. Exercise was good shouldering skis and walking a grade at 10K feet! A snowboarder caught up with me on the walk. St. George thirty something who had rented a condo here for the weekend. Says he loves it. Comes to this area in summer to hunt elk.

Beaucoup young families skiing easy upper section.

The wonder of obscurity! Eagle Point exceeds expectations and vindicates Bishop's strategy to ski the Ma 'n Pa's this season.

REFLECTIONS FROM THE LIFT. Forget Navarro Report.
Just tell my why six states simultaneously stop vote count at 2:30 AM with Trump surging and leading. Then, simultaneously resume count with 9 to.1 for Biden vote.

There should be a simple explanation for this obvious anomaly. Instead, we just get Bolshevik inspired insults and fulminations from TDS useful idiots.
Honest people, of whatever political bent, should want an answer to this question if only to satisfy a need to know election was fair.
Let this question stand unanswered and its just another slide, frog in the pot style, down the slippery slope to totalitarianism.

I Like it!!!
