Picto Diary - 04 to 11 March 2023 - Moose, Skiing and Washington County (addendum moto memories)

Above: Pine Valley Mountains through Red Mountain notch. Washington County, UT. 04 March 2023.

Above: Johann Palmstruch, Drums and Grrr. Ghidotti's Restaurant, Park City, UT. 04 March 2023.

Friend of fifty years (former head of FRB Atlanta) and two grandsons. Me 'n Palmstruch (Dennis Lockhart) live in life's fourth quartile. The two boys are in the first. What will life bring to the boys? Methinks they must negotiate a more challenging path than mine and Palmstruch's. They are off to a good start though. Drums is a food runner here at Ghidotti's learning to work. He's a good skier and applies himself at academics and music. Grrr is also a proficient skier and tops his sixth-grade class in math.

Benefaction was CEO of Target Bank when I was a Director. She now has a top position at Goldman Sachs Salt Lake City operation.

You can ride with 'em, but you can't ski with 'em.

Three hundred miles on I-15 separate these two images.

It’s nice to still have you with us and that math is alive and doing well in the family!

Steve,

We are Lucky Bastards to have experienced so many unique situations under the guise of just another m’cycle ride. As you might presume, there are many images of the Gentle Giant from Mongolia to South America & Africa. We certainly have a had a lot of great rides! This was our 1st ride with Jim Hunter.

Thanks for the images. In addition to Hunter, you and me in the Mongolia image are Malcolm Moore, David Edwards, then managing editor of one of the big motorcycle magazines, and Henry Black. And thanks to you Burt Richmond (Isetta) for making much of my fantastic motorcycle adventure life happen!
