Image provided by nostalgia keepers at my 55th high school reunion today.

Reunion was held at our original school, on University Avenue, prior to demolition sometime in the next few months.

Organizers did a great job. 70 of 300 plus attendance.

Caleb Chapmand Soundhouse production.

Concert organized by Bud's Mom, FeeBee.

Great to see old, new and good friends and Bud's cousins attend.

Image background: Utah police officers on their motors.

Wasatch Bagel provided the lunch for the four hundred plus riders.

As a board member of 1033 Foundation, an organization which provides immediate cash payments to the families of fallen Utah police officers, I much appreciate Kreg's and Wasatch Bagel's support of the 1033 Ride.

I attended all aspects of the ride... registration, opening remarks/color guard, lunch, ride (on Duc) up to the Dejoria Center, near Kamas in Summit County, and the concert. Very well organized. Kudos to 1033 executive head, David Kaufmann.

Bishop, once again, tapped to fill in for vacationing regular organist. This time for a Stake General Priesthood Meeting.

Addendum:

Nice trip down memory lane in Provo. Christine didn’t remember you , somehow you changed in 60 years. Probably got taller too.

What a nostalgic week for you! Fourth of July in Provo then right back for the class reunion.
Getting off the freeway at Provo for the reunion was the first time l'd been there in years. All siblings, 26 nieces and nephews, 112 great nieces and nephews and great greats all have moved away all over the country. Not much reason to visit since two and a half years at PHS and four at BYU doesn't make it feel like a home town. When the Provo High "girls" get together for lunch once a year, we usually go to Chris's Country Club here in Salt Lake.
I always liked the Park City 4th of July parade when we had a condo there. Is it still cute? Dumb question. You didn't go this year.
Maybe this is a dumb question too, but why "Bishop"?
Next time you come down through Emigration Canyon stop by for a potty break or meet for brunch at Ruth's Diner. (Oh, I forgot that guys just pee on the side of the road. Never mind.)

In a political email forum exchange I was once called "Bishop" as an insult due to the correspondent's sense that my political views were doctrinaire and uncompromising. The correspondent, of course, was anti cleric and viewed "the church" as a retrograde institution. I co-opted the name "Bishop," thereafter, as a valued nick name.
