J.C. Penny on its last legs. Now, in bankruptcy. Dad, Weldon J. Taylor, was a personal friend of J. C. Penney. While we were living in NYC in 1951, Dad and J.C. Penney met periodically for lunch.

On the recommendation of the WHP cop that stopped us on US 189 northbound to Kemmerer, the fossil excavator at Fossil Butte National Monument, and Tax, we tried this place. It seemed pricey until you discovered that the medium size ribeye was 22 ounces.
