Ahn Rhee California notes:

3 days power cuts in Larkspur. A nuisance, not terrible. We have gas for cooking and it's not cold. Both grocery stores we go to had powerful diesel generators. They were "on their feet" in minutes after the power cuts.

The real problem is that half the cell towers in Marin County went down. People are pissed. I don't think they'll go through that again without riots in the street. — at Peet's Coffee.
