The thought of watching the Olympics was too depressing...failed country, Zika virus, shootings in the stands, dead bodies floating at Ipanema beach, horrific TV coverage, and corrupt IOC. So, I decided to go see the National Bean Bag Championships at City Park.

It got me outdoors walking, and, the bean bag competition is totally in tune with the American zeitgeist today. TIMDT demurred, saying she'd rather do housework.

Technique of most successful players? Beanbag in one hand, Silver Bullet in the other.

For the past several years, on this date, I have been motorcycling with the Big Dogs in Colorado.

This band was the real deal. Lead singer did a pretty good Bob Marley.

Saw Feinstein in LV at the Smith Center. Fabulous! But we loved the outdoor concerts in Deer Valley.
