Cruel feminist joke?

Cornucopia let The Bishop do a test drive. I (6'6") fit very well in the small vehicle. Great driving experience. Massive acceleration. No instrumentation but for the i-pad like screen to the right of the wheel, appended to the dash. Cornucopia showed me the self park, and "driverless" features of his fully loaded Model 3. I believe the notion of turning everyone into "passengers" needs more discussion. Whence the Borg? Check out further Tesla notes in Addendum (scroll down).

F16 explains Colorado business opportunity near his 7 acre cabin property. Pay back taxes in exchange for tax lien. Lien provides 13% return, if purchaser keeps up tax payments, and original tax deadbeat pays up later. If no payment within three years, and if tax lean purchaser keeps up tax payments for that period, he claims the original property.

Cold. No snow, but resort snow makers pumping out snow. Park City moves up opening date to 16 November.
Addendum:
Steve.
Our deepest condolences to you and Margaret, your family and Aunt Joyce’s family on Joyce’s passing.
What a lady. Sharp as a tack and such a solid thinker within a strong moral code. And she was so young in heart.
We will miss her.
Chris and Regina
Thanks. Missing Aunt Joyce a lot. Good memories.
Interesting stuff. Thanks for sharing.
Interesting Thiel tax fact. Rumored to have one of the largest Roth IRAs. Many billionaires formed them early and are accruing massive tax free retirement funds.

Stirring revelations on future business opportunities.... the rise of video gaming as a team sport... the long term shortage of roust about talent for oil and gas as need for energy ramps up...the imminence of interplanetary space travel... the rise of low cost, high effective border/perimeter protection.... I loved the day spent with Peter at The Battery.
I looked all over for an International Man of Mystery Motorcycle King costume. You must’ve gotten the last one!

Steve,
You recommend the best books! Thank you. Recently finished 1917 - Lenin and Wilson, and just ordered Darwim’s Doubt. Here’s one I recommend. Tells you why our congress is so screwed up.

I suggest you read “After Thought: The Computer Challenge to Human Intelligence” by James Bailey. Try this: https://vdocuments.mx/documents/by-james-bailey-book-review-by-grace-gilles-cs110.html
You may learn something.
P.S. you are right – you are no scientist….. and you can’t say much of anything that has value.

Great review, Steve.
I am going to get the book and read it.
All the best this Thanksgiving season,
Rob, Hartford, CT
Thanks Steve! Great review—hope I can read it this year.

Hi Stephen,
I see we have something else in common---an interest in intelligent design. I’ve been a colleague and friend of Michel Behe for 3 decades, and have written extensively about his work (Darwin’s Black Box, The Edge of Evolution, etc).
Best, Cornucopia,

P.S. How’s your Tesla crush coming along—ready to go drive some in SLC ?
I've had Behe's book, "Darwin's Black Box," on my reading pile for 10 years now. After having read "Darwin's Doubt," it may be time to dust it off and read it. Meyer discusses Behe's contribution in his book.
Thanks for the Tesla test drive. To coin a phrase, "it's a whole new driving experience... and, I'm a susceptible customer, if for no other reason that I've always felt the need to test new, mind broadening, life space.
I test rode a Zero electric motorcycle a couple of years ago. I have that experience also on my "might do" list.
My ongoing thinking on Tesla (electric vehicles):
Downs:
Shorter range (though that seems to be improving)
Long refuel periods
Government subsidies
Excessive carbon footprint (manufacturing and disposal)
Ups:
Acceleration and performance
Zero emissions (transfer of emissions to low population area when powered by fossil)
Tech features... though, the sociological impact of turning the whole world into "passengers" as opposed to doers and navigators hasn't been fleshed out.
All this being said, I hold a fair amount (for me) of Tesla stock and am an investor in SpaceX via a private equity investment. I am a big fan of Elon Musk, his optimism, his risk taking capacity... all at a time when progressive elements want to return humanity to the animal kingdom.
