Bishop loves Russian thistle. He ran into the real stuff in abundance when motorcycling through Dagistan and Chechnya in 2014. Bishop feels impact on America of invasive Russian thistle is much greater than Russian meddling in US elections.

Bishop walks the line (Sugarhouse trolly) 2.5 miles east (Fairmont) to west (Central Pointe). Rides trolley back 2.5 miles to Fairmont. .

Bishop walks shirtless in 88 degree temperatures, back to the sun. Sunlight Vitamin D is therapeutic for Bishop's itchy skin.

Near the end of Bishop 's walk a passing UTA trolley driver reported the Bishop to UTA authorities for trespassing on UTA property. The first three quarters of the walk is on designated parkway adjacent to the trolley track. The final quarter of the walk is through unobstructed, unpaved track right of way... weeds. But, there are no NO TRESPASSING signs.

At Central Pointe trolley terminus, a UTA enforcement officer confronts Bishop. She says he was trespassing and that he was blocking the train. Bishop counters: "There were no No Trespassing signs and I was well out of the way of the trolly when it passed." Enforcement officer: "You should use common sense." Bishop: "I did. I stayed well away from the tracks when the trolly approached." UTA enforcement officer doesn't like Bishop's assertive defense of his actions. Leaves. Calls SLC PD.

UTA enforcement officer encounter was more or less repeated by SLC police officer, five minutes later, after UTA officer asked for police assistance. Bishop was seated in the trolley, awaiting his return to Fairmont Station when the officer approached. Nice fellow doing his job in professional manner. Bishop agreed to refrain from walking the lower part of the trolley line in future but encouraged UTA to put up No Trespassing signs.

Addendum:

Where's Bishop's count for push ups??
Kilimanjaro,
Jackson, WY

I was hoping to evade that question!
