Picto Diary, 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8, 9 April 2019 - Haircut

April 1, 2 - No post.

Above: (69) Stockli about to ski his favorite run.

April 4 - No post.

Above: (70) Carpenter runs. Snow Park Lodge. 05 April 2019.

Variable Spring sking conditions, sometimes good, sometimes not so much, while skiing with PGA and 'Cake.

Mohs healing going well. Good to be back on skis..
active...exercising.

Seems weird. DV has 130 inches settled base...yet it closes day after tomorrow. Most Colorado and California resorts open through the end of April.

Most Cottonwood Canyon resorts open through April end...Snowbird likely open into June.

FeeBee up here somewhere with a friend. Didn't connect. Crossed paths with Maharaja and Suppressant. — at Deer Valley Resort.

Above: Barber pole. Taylor's On Top barbershop (no relation). Salt Lake City, UT. 06 April 2019.

Always a pleasure. Dara. Meticulous, precise and careful... doing the best job she can on a flawed subject.

It's TIMDT who scheduled these visits...but, for her I'd go Grizzly Adams.

Above: (71). Closing day image. PGA and Bishop. Flagstaff summit. Deer Valley, UT. 07 April 2019.

PGA and Mwah (sic) skied Big Stick and Jordanelle with Stihl and Golf. PGA and Mwah (sic) continued to ski together through noon. Orion perfect at 11:30 AM.

PGA had a hard time keeping up with me...I slowed down, however, to maintain harmonic social ski experience. ;-]

Still seems odd that DV closes with 110 inches of settled base and a big April storm on the way. — feeling hyper at Deer Valley Resort.

Above: Hot car at Game Night, (I mean, like, not basketball). Jeremey Ranch, UT. 07 April 2019.

Smoked elk roast, taken, dressed, butchered, frozen and cooked by host.

Over Amarula shots, host speech about culture where fewer and fewer people know how to do stuff. Taking your own food, for.example, is a dying art. What will average Joe (zombie) do when the food supply disrupted?

Bishop and TIMDT honored to be part of this tradition, even if, when it comes to knowing how to do stuff, we're part of the zombie cohort.

Above: Parley's Creek. Jeremy Ranch, UT. 07 April 2019.

Near overflow. Depending on pace of thaw, may be looking at Spring floods in this part of the world.

Above: Café Niche. Salt Lake City, UT. 08 April 2019.

Lunch (TIMDT and Bishop) with Piano and Tennis.

Apart from the beloved company, our fist time experience at this restaurant was good. We'll be back. I had the reuben on rye.

Addendum:

You had your nose redone? You really expect waiters to bring you what you order?

Get better soon!

Seven!!!??? Sheesh.

Steve,
Sorry to hear about the Mohs. At least that approach minimizes the collateral damage while maximizing the results! Been there done that, all the way to my skull. Recovery soon and be safe.
Carpet, Atlanta, GA

Steve- I have been thru this and my son just went had it on his ear-ended & up with plastic surgery and Dale M. has been going thru extensive Mohs treatments.
I guess we are all paying the price for enjoying the outdoors
Bummer about the skiing but you have had a good season,
