Epic snow. 8 inches overnight. Epic skiing.

Ponderous skier Bishop holds up nimble Dhaka...but, then, Dhaka didn't know the mountain. Good trade, in the end. Dhaka gets mountain knowledge, Bishop gets a clinic. Bishop, feeling peer pressure, got in 15 lifts, notwithstanding. No break 3 hours of skiing.

Dhaka, fluent in Portuguese, lived in Angola for two years. With a friend, on their own, motorcycled on cheap Chinese bikes 2000 miles east to Mozambique.

Dhaka born in OZ in 1976. 31 year old Bishop in OZ at the time. Worked for Dhaka's dad. That's the very valued connection.

Dhaka now manages, for UN, large scale ($170 MM) urban planning project in Bangladesh.

Bishop loves hanging out with young, high achievers.

DV reports 18 inches. Epic day #2.

Skied again with Dhaka, though I insisted that given the conditions, he should maximize this rare snow opportunity and not to wait for ponderous Mwah (sic) to keep up. NFPD, after all.

My accomplishment for the day was skiing Mountaineer in 14 inches of untracked powder. Wore me out, and that's a good thing. Deepest powder I have ever skied. Just when you're feeling good about your ability to ski in 8 inches of powder, you try 14 inches and it's a whole new ball game.

Image: Lena, on the gondola. Wife of Bob, one of the original PCM Ski Geezers. Bob, metallurgy scientist, 84, has pended skiing due to health issues. For years, annually, Bob and Lena would hike the Dolomites.

Ev, forester, who was once chased by a moose while skiing down PCM's Silver Star run, passed away 6 years ago. Ev's vehicle vanity plate was "SKIGEEZER."

Original Ski Geezers, 83 year old Meat Axe, meat cutter, and 84 year old Ohl, Texas oil man, are still taking regular turns at PCM.

Ten years ago, while they were in their early 70's, the Ski Geezers, all daily PCM skiers, took me in (early 60s) as a "junior geezer" ski companion. TWO3, then, was already a Junior Geeezer.

Never learned so much sitting on a lift chair as I did from these guys, as they "taught" drawing from their diverse backgrounds and life experiences.
