Boys and toys excursion took us to Huntsville, over Montecristo Highway (UT SR 39), to Evanston, WY, for steak tacos and than back on the Mirror Lake Highway.

American comfort food. I had meatloaf with mashed potatoes and mixed peas and corn.

LSDM Walkers.
The Actuary and TWO3 engage with Kings Crown developer Rory Murphy at Kings Crown development excavation on Lowell Ave.
So....if we can put in 240 units here on Lowell Avenue, what's the problem with the Treasure Hill development just up the road?
It's a resort community. If you're not growing your shrinking. No such thing as preserving your gains in life.

Duc does drums.

JAZZ HANG
JAY LAWRENCE/Sonic Paragon: He might have been a Vegas drummer that got his union card at 15 but he doesn’t play with any of that Sammy Joey coke headedness that you hear in the Vegas lounges. Rounding up a bunch of cats who’s reps are so strong you would buy this just by seeing their names, this is water front/sunset jazz played to the nth degree. A high quality set where everyone gets a chance to shine, this is the kind of set that doesn’t make ‘pleasant’ a point of derision. Killer stuff that’ll be welcome wherever it goes.

Above: Concert. Ersatz ABBA with Utah Symphony. Deer Valley, UT Amphitheater. 13 July 2018.
TIMDT observes.
TIMDT and Mwah (sic) lived in OZ from 74 to 79, the years when ABBA became mega stars in OZ and Europe. We know and love all their songs. US fame came much later.
The real ABBA, not this group of reasonably able impersonators, is purportedly planning a new recording, but with mixed tracks, recorded independently by each artist. Still no love lost between ABBA members, but enough sense to cash on on one of the twentieth century's greatest musical marques.
Not clear what Utah Symphony was doing at this concert. The symphony might have saved some money by substituting crash test dummies for musicians for the concert duration.
Ersatz Bjorn's purple body suit was THE best!
Ersatz or not, tonight's concert was toe tapping fun.

Kentucky blue grass.
Utah Symphony shows up tonight (unlike last night ersatz ABBA where they served as props).
Good ensemble effect between symphony and Ricky Skaggs' musicians. — at Deer Valley Ampitheater.

TIMDT wanted to stay home, but, I had a craving for steak tacos... so I rode a 140 mile round trip to Evanston, and Don Pedro's restaurant, and back.
I went up by I-80. Came back via Yellow Creek Road, Wyoming and Chalk Creek Road, Utah.
I love the obscure riding like this. Just me, the Duc rumble, the cows and the landscape. There was no one else out here.
I got home in time to prepare the bar for a dinner party we hosted:
Mezzanine and Magnolia
Vermont and Richardson
'Cake and Maui
Montage and SpaGo
Bishop and TIMDT
TIMDT did great job with salmon, quinoa, corn on the cob and tossed salad.
