The kids are kind of like Freddie. They seek out Granny first. Bishop is more than an afterthought, but he's definitely in second place when it comes to preference... and appropriately so!

Lift ascends a south facing slope now denuded of snow. Reward, from where image is captured, is a very steep, black, run.

Image looks southwest. 4PM ish. Looking in direction of setting sun provides vivid shadowing on the mountain.

Joined by Bronx Girl and Hoops. Last night also... at Ruths Chris Steakhouse, Park City. Reminisced on two trips to Ireland we took together 2017, 2018. Six last night: Included Bronx Girl and Hoop's daughter Megan and her husband, Owen.
Excellent, except the waiters, looking like bandits, creeped me out. I won't go back there as long as this absurd, disconcerting practice is still in place.

Taking a break from skiing to attend, in my mobile office, a live Hoover Zoom presentation on India by two former US ambassadors to India. Post presentation at 11:15 AM, I returned to the mountain to ski seven runs. The mobile office cum ski locker cum nap place cum dog kennel allows for great flexibility in scheduling the day. And I discovered it can also be used as an RV.

Alone on Red Cloud Lift. Laps on Peeler's Magic Carpet.
While alone on the lift I sang ballads. It's a memory building exercise: Caroll County Accident, Porter Wagoner; The Gambler, Kenny Rogers; City of New Orleans, Willie Nelson, and Lucille, Kenny Rogers, I've learned. I'm working on: Seven Spanish Angels, Willie Nelson and Ray Charles; North to Alaska, Johnny Horton, I'm Gonna Love You Forever, Randy Travis; and Coward of the County, Kenny Rogers.
Aging as I am, I'm a bit obsessed about retaining my memory. And, retaining, also means working the brain by memorizing new stuff. Sometimes it scares me, because I easily forget key phrases during the learning process. I start out by streaming via Spotify into the car audio a ballad list I've made up. When I'm alone on a lift chair, I can play the same list on my device in my breast pocket and sing along. I have earbuds, but I'm too lazy to bring them. The good news is, once the lines are learned after painstaking repetition, they become pretty hard wired. The old brain ain't gone yet.
After skiing for an hour and a half, I changed clothes in the Sprinter and drove to the Park City Ward meeting house where I had been commandeered last night to accompany on the electronic organ at Sacrament Service. TIMDT left with KK for Ivins this AM. I'm left alone with Freddie. After Church, I stopped at Clockwork Cafe for an Italian sandwich. Freddie had been home alone for three hours by the time I got home. In his exuberance to see me, he almost knocked me down.
Addendum:
Goodness. Drums grew up so fast!

OMG. This is the FIRST time you have ever been a convention delegate?!! Good for you (even if your ideas are wonky). I've attended state conventions of both parties since l was old enough to vote. I've been a county party chair organizing all the caucuses and conventions. I spend days at the Capitol during legislative sessions and interim days to educate legislators about the realities that seem to escape many of them. I support signature gathering for candidates l believe would do the best job. Most citizens complain and moan about the state of the state but aren't interested or involved in the true process. If you don't have a seat at the table, you are on the menu.
A friend just bought a house and a car from his phone - no human interaction. Sorry about your meat😊

Love keeping up with your very talented grandson! He looks so grown up and it’s a little scary to think how quickly that happened. I hope to hear Drums (a.k.a. Phinn) play someday before he goes off and becomes a rock star!
7/8 Time Signature??? Tough to count!
