Thanks. Currently reading "The American Fisherman" by Willie Robertson and his ghostwriter. Terrific history book just released a few days ago. Will read "Night School" next. Happy Thanksgiving!

I'm reading it, as I have read every one of the Reacher novels. Just one minor correction: Reacher is 6'5". And yes it IS a travesty that his movie character is 5'7" and a leader of some weird cult like church that Reacher would never belong to.

I'm a huge Reacher fan myself. As a woman his appeal is not sexual but as a man who seeks truth and justice and has the means to carry it out. I like that he is uncomplicated and straight forward. Unhesitating in helping right wrongs, but not overly moral about it. Perhaps it appeals to the femme fatal in me, but any woman would want a Jack to show up in her defense (or her town or her home or family or country) when she needs him. I too am amazed at Child's ability to keep churning these out each year. I'll give this one a try over the holiday. Thanks for the review. Happy turkey day to all the Taylor's!

Steve,

I have to point out that you are closer to being Jack then I. I am 6'3", while you are closer to Jack's 6'5", sometime 6'6", although usually his brother is 6'6".

Happy Thanksgiving

Great review! I am also a Reacher fan and am 25% through this new one. I am glad to hear that there is the required fist fight where Reacher takes out at least four bad guys.

We will be in PC for the holidays and hope to see you at Wasatch Bagel.

We both really enjoy the "Reacher" books. You are totally right about the Tom Cruise travesty, but I guess if you have enough money you can cast yourself in your dream.
