Addendum:
Hi Steve,
Just back from trip to NZ and OZ.
We had decided to gift ANZAC Jack's mementos to the new Australian Army Museum of Engineers near Sydney.
The handover was timed to coincide with the centenary dinner of the 14th Field Coy Engineers (now the 14th Squadron), the unit that was formed in Egypt in 1916. Grandad was recuperating in Egypt at the time and joined the new unit so he could go to France and the Western Front.
The 14th Squadron invited Dad, myself, cousin Warrick and Shaun to be their guests at the celebration dinner and we were honoured to be attend. It was a real milestone to have 3 generations of ANZAC Jack's family attending.
The handover at the Museum the next day went smoothly in the capable hands of Brig. Wayne Budd (remember him from Gallipoli) and we had 9 family members in attendance.

Dear Steve,
The people are ok. That’s what’s important. Ultimately, the rest is just “things and stuff”.
My best wishes to all.
