Picto Diary - 19, 20, 21, 22 March 2016 - More Powder

Above: Enterprise, Rudy, Jr., TIMDT, Grrr, and Z. Deer Valley. 19 March 2016.

Met up with Enterprise serendipitously at Homestake. He joined us for a run down Last Chance before making a rendezvous with a lunch partner.

Enterprise is our LDS home teacher (a labor of love). Enterprise, retired General Counsel for Atlantic Richfield, was a friend of my Dad's, Weldon J. Taylor, who was Dean of BYU's college of Business from 1960 to 1975. Enterprise was one of the charter members of the BYU Business School National Advisory Board, set up by Dad.

As an over 80 skier, Enterprise is a role model, giving TIMDT and Mwah (sic) something to which to aspire.

These boys like skiing. Grrr looks at his Dad and says, "I want to do the bumps." Z tells Dad, "let's go up again."

Before image capture, Grrr had inadvertently skied into the bushes and couldn't get out. Dad's assistance required. This image shows Grrr, after getting righted by Dad, ready to join Z who is further down the track.

The Bishop would never ski down this route, fearing inability to turn at speed in the sharp, trenched turns. So, I ski out to the main run and try to keep track of the twins as I look up into the trees. Their Dad, an expert skier, unlike me, is not afraid to follow them.

The boys appear to have a passion for this activity. After lunch. Grrr asked if they could do one more run. There wasn't time... but, its the right question!

It is important for us to all be environmentally responsible. Green bags are one way we can help.

No skiing today.

Entry for 21 March 2016.

No skiing today.

Above: Guzzi, Hoops (formerly Basketball), and The Bishop. Motherlode Lift. Park City Ski Area. 22 March 2016.

Powder performance continues to improve. Feeling more comfortable. Staying forward more consistently.

Good to ski with Hoops, in from NYC to spend a week with his daughter, son-in-law, and two toddler grandchildren (also from NYC).

Guzzi had skied over from Canyons Village via the Quick Silver gondola.

Above: Ambulances and injured. Medical Clinic. First Time Lift base. Park City Ski Area. 22 March 2016.

I don't know the specifics about these injuries here... but, blustery, deep snow, snowing, ski conditions and spring break vacationers don't always mix well. Injuries here are not likely serious as life threatening injuries are life flighted by helicopter from this spot. Image taken as I leave the resort... about 12:15 PM.

The permanent raid on the Social Security Trust Fund is yet another example of theft by Democrats. This raid was at the direction of Lyndon Johnson.
