So evocative of the sacrifice that shaped a present from which we all benefit.
Most deservedly given a cash prize "order of merit," but, I would have rated it rated it best in show.
I'm half way through rereading Stegner"s "The Gathering of Zion," which provides me with deep context for the poignancy of this painting.
