Mayflower is overseen by the state’s Military Installation Development Authority (MIDA), which was initially started to spur development by nearby Hill Air Force Base. MIDA was later expanded by the state legislature to include the ski resort, which will have a hotel with discounts for active and former military. Extell is the Mayflower developer. It purchased the resort property in 2017. Mayflower resort will be managed by Deer Valley, with Deer Valley naming, and be open for operation 25/26 ski season. Deer Valley will, effectively, double in size to around 800 skiable acres.

Administering antibiotics to Glynda Good Witch.
Glynda, left front foot, stepped on a nail and showed signs of being lame. The nail was removed. Mynduveroan must wait two or three days before riding her again.

Date night.
I had to get a decent steak (which I did. Ruths Chris has never disappointed). Several nights back we joined friends at Grappa. The time with friends was great, but my $80 (!) steak was not. Another friend, LA based Montage, always said about Grappa, and Park City restaurants in general, "Park City restaurants are hit and miss." Grappa, this time was a miss.

Steve,

I have seen a number of "documentary types" of programs re: the advancement of electricity as we now know it. Edison, Westinghouse, G.E., a/c vs. d/c., etc. I believe it was Westinghouse that "stole" Tesla's coil invention and used it for their purposes.

I'm not certain there is such a concept as "ethics" in big business. Sure--"small things" are outwardly done to give the appearance of propriety/ethics. But I bet your head would explode if you knew what was going on behind the proverbial "closed doors" of any mammoth company.

Pros and cons of capitalism, I suppose.

It's easy to forget the beauty that surrounds us amongst the din of “civilization”. I teach my kids to have the connection with nature as a secure lifeline to reality. Thanks for sharing.
