Above: Out and about on the F800 GS. 22 September 2018.
Five miles east of SW Wyoming corner monument.. Clearing out the pipes of the little ridden... over the last thirteen months... F800 GS.
Duc is in shop getting new rubber (got 5000 miles this summer on Pirelli trails) and having a brain procedure performed (recall on some electronic function).
Utah vistas are spectacular... anywhere you go... Duc or F800GS.
From the WY Corner Monument, I rode this road east, in Utah, about five miles... until the pavement ran out. The dirt road was graded... easy riding... but I didn't continue. I was out here all alone. Better to be with someone when you're this far into the boonies and just exploring sans preparation.
The image looks back, west. It was taken after I turned around to head back to the corner monument.

High Uintas... Hayden is 12K something. 10 Uinta peaks exceed 13K feet. Utah's mountains ain't no Colorado (Colorado has over 40 14teeners. ... but, their not half bad... and, in many ways more accessible.
I rode a loop from Park City to Evanston, WY. Up via Chalk Creek and Yellow Creek roads and back via the Mirror Lake Highway. Round trip, including my side trips, about 150 miles.
Naturally, I had steak tacos at Don Pedros... best Mexican food in Park City environs.
If you are single female, living in Park City, between the ages of 20 and 35, and don't have a dog, you are an outlier. — at Wasatch Bagel Café. 23 September 2018.

Addendum:
Just curious. Is the Duc pronounced Duck or Duke? (I know the answer MUST be Duck!)

Deek? Dick? Dock? Duce? When are we gonna see you guys out here again?
PS. OK... OK... its a legitimate question if you don't know bikes. Duck.
KAT at Shooter's Grill. Rifle, CO
KAT with gun toting Jasmine, a real pistol, and Ed chamberlain, a true wild horse hustler... claims 'that movie killed the business" (The Misfits, Gable, Monroe, Wallach, Ritter... of course). Says they only culled the herds to keep them healthy... but the liberals forced the government which now keeps them penned up in Nevada.
KAT,
Dallas, TX
I love this place. Its a mandatory lunch stop when I'm headed that way.
