A sign upon which we can all agree, right? But, then again, maybe not. Squint... and there may be some very bad, harmful, and even evil sentiments expressed here.

1. Who doesn't believe black lives matter? All lives matter, right? Or, does sign mean Black Lives Matter, a Marxist organization seeking societal transformation via property destruction, violence, and neutering the cops?

2. Who doesn't believe in women's equal rights? Or, is the sign advocating for a woman's right to kill her unborn child sans input of the father, which, of course, would mean women have more rights than men? Hat tip: Dave Chappelle

3. Does "no one is illegal" mean we're all equal in the eyes of God? Who doesn't agree with that? Or, does the sign advocate for open borders with no immigration control?

4. The sign rings true about science. I believe in science. Like the sign says, it's real! Sadly, there are many putatively educated people who deny science today...like advocates for banning DDT; like the disbelievers of the efficacy of GMO food; like the advocates of high coal polluting, high carbon footprint lithium leaching electric cars; like the zealots who advocate for a spectrum of genders; like those who believe an unborn child is not a human; like those who deny that human evolution is recent, copious, and regional; and, like those who suppress dialogue about the building scientific consensus about design in the universe? Some may think they believe in science... but, they actually don't.

5. Love is love. What? Does the sign encourage, like, well, pedophilia? Pedophilia is a form of love, isn't it?

6. Kindness is Everything. Who doesn't believe in kindness? But, does the sign advocate for kindness even when individual freedoms are challenged and threatened? Is kindness here code for submission? The sign is not making the case for unquestioned submission to authority, is it? "Yes sir, I'm proceeding into the box car just as you requested sir. Have a nice day!"

I'm confused. Who doesn't believe in its precepts on some level? But, is everybody believing in the same thing? One could easily make the case that the sign is advocating some really bad stuff! What do those who post the sign actually believe?

RIPRLM (21 August 2020 funeral service)

Above: Attended via internet feed funeral service in Devon, UK for el Contadore. Tastefully done. He would have been proud of his sons remembering him in the fashion that they did.
