Epic skiing.
Skied at various times with Fenway, The Pope, Rudy, Jr., Roy, and Grrrr. Took posession of Roy and Grrrr after Snow Park lunch. Brot em both home to join Mynduveroan for granny's cup cake making fest.
Grandpa, responsible for Grrr for three runs, needs a protocol for Grrrr. Grrr skis off ahead and does all the side cuts. I lose track of where he is. Lost him once below Dakota today, but, he was found by his Dad. Turns out that Grrr, using good sense, waited at a junction where he knew one of us would show up.
Rudy Jr. took Roy and Grrrr up the Empire lift. There's no easy way down. Roy and Grrr really advancing in ski capability and confidence!
Reward, Peeler, and Magnet all groomed today...all spectacular. — at Deer Valley Resort.

Carpenter lift with Golf, who reported on his trip to Beaver Creek and Vail last week. Here today to escort some high roller friends of his boss around the resort. Ummm. Golf is not exactly a low roller.

Got enough runs in but, Sultan, Mayflower, Wasatch, Empire and Sterling lifts were all down due to high winds by the time we left. — at Deer Valley Resort.

Warmish, but high wind chill preserves the snow. Gondola closed. Wind. Still, did the perfect Jordanelle 2x, cutting off at Keetley.
Skied with Stockli and The Pope.
An inch of new Snow from 11:00 AM to noon.
Orion epic condition.
Addendum:
I was in and out of Japan from 1970-1973; and moved in from 1974-1979. Loved it. The big hit book was Japan as No. 1.
Soon after the Japanese bought several golf courses in CA.
