Not bad.

Down for hair cut. (As predicted, first scheduling job TIMDT undertakes).

Over the Counter closed.

bove: Michael Workman painting, "Helper." Springville Art Museum, Springville, UT 27 June 2107.

Third prize. Pricey. I know Helper well. Interesting railroad museum there. Groggs Brew Pub also a good place to stop for a sandwich.

'Cake and Maui joined TIMDT and Mwah (sic) to visit the Spring Salon at the Springville Art Museum.

Exhibition includes entries from 200 Utah artists. The paintings are ranked and prizes are awarded. Winning prizes usually mean the artist gets some traction at regional galleries such as Park City, Santa Fe and Sun Valley. Some (Karl Thomas) have had New York Exhibitions.
TIMDT and Mwah (sic) own paintings from previous prize winning artists, Karl Thomas, Jeffrey Pugh, and Kent Wallace.

Hi big guy
I followed your Alaska trip... hum... it would have been, at least, from my point of view, pretty cool to have done the trip with you! I guess I was just one year too soon! 😄😉
Enjoyed your reports!

Take care,

Flic 🏍😄👍

Lets look for a window to ride.

Steve,

I loved the vicarious pleasure of your trip, which could only have been enhanced with a map.

A small world footnote, the Best Western in Burley in which you stayed 20 years ago was the can-do creation of my father when he realized that his reward for 38 years of service to Standard of California/Chevron was a retirement income to share with my mother of $4,000/year. With $200,000 raised with/borrowed from friends and a $400,000 mortgage from Citibank (thanks to wonderful Bob Graham) the motel opened in nearly 50 years ago and Dad ran it for 25 years until he was 88. Today the Burley Inn and Convention Center is Idaho’s is the fifth largest in Idaho. Ironically, I spent three hours today negotiating contracts for the final phase of the Convention Center’s renovation. On your next I-84 trip be sure to stop in for some refreshment in the Spud Cellar Lounge or better yet a great night’s sleep at the Burley Inn, the top Trip Advisor rated property along I-84 between SLC and Boise.

See you and Margaret soon under the stars at a Deer Valley Concert.

With fond admiration,

Park Avenue, New York City

Thanks for sharing that wonderful story Jim. I've stayed there once and been by there many times. There's a fuel/convenience store next door.

Surprised to hear that Big Twin was using a Bonneville for a loaner when you had your service done. That bike had to have been 10 years old by that time.

Good to see reading for precision.

Congratulations on completing your ride without incident. I hope you gave your 800 a good hug when you got home.
