Picto Diary - 24 May 2016 - OSF

Gilbert and Sullivan didn't always get along in the creative process. However, they cited "Yeoman" as their best collaboration.
Competitive dissonance seems to happen a lot in the arts. Henley and Fry. Van Gogh and Gaugin. Prerequisite for artistic excellence?
In this production, the actors were also the musicians. Couldn't determine from where/whom the bass line was coming, however. Probably some musician back stage.
Fun production. Saw "Pirates of Penzance" at OSF two or three years ago.
OSF production today seen with Aunt Joyce DeWitt, woman of a certain age, venerated oldest employee of OSF.

The old twins scam.

Addendum:
Love the electronic organ! Yes Steve, you do have to come down off your cloud, but we both know it's more fun to actually "play" the organ regardless of the instrument. Souls were touched, I'm sure. Keep up the fantasy and keep playing!

My Roland stage piano at home does a not half bad church organ simulation.
