Highlight comments:

One boss's worrisome comment that late millennial, early X hires are woefully lacking in the workplace.

Claim that a majority of Zs are resisting and mocking woke indoctrination in high school.

In response to one ROMEO's plaint of pessimism for the future: “You must not lose faith in humanity. Humanity is an ocean; if a few drops of the ocean are dirty, the ocean does not become dirty.” – Mahatma Gandhi

Two BYU Alums. Bishop and Krysten Sinema, US Senator, Arizona.

No Labels will run a 3rd Party candidate if Joe and DJT are the Dem and Pub candidates respectively. Sinema may well be the No Labels presidential nominee. The No Labels people claim to have run the numbers that augur favorably for 3rd party candidate win for the presidency. Sinema's own upcoming elections mirrors the No Label's national template of running a third-party candidate for president. As a declared Independent, Sinema will run for reelection as US Senator in 2024 in a three-way race with a Republican and a Democrat opponent.

Angel Kast was nothing short of outstanding this morning. FIRE has a great mission, the protection of free speech. I was most impressed by their drive not to fall subject to mission creep.
I took a look at their web site, There is a link to their rankings of institutions of higher education with respect to free speech policies on campus. It is enlightening. It is not a generalization to say that amongst private colleges and universities, the more selective schools (i.e., Ivy, NESCAC, etc.) are the lowest ranking.

LSDM Walkers.

TWO3 and Cheryl Fox; CEO Summit Land Conservancy. Applauded for riding a non-electric bike, Cheryl responded that she was riding a Cheryl powered bike.

Addendum:

Glad you met some nice people. I certainly agree with you and them working from home and not being with associates. You lose a lot of camaraderie as well as esprit de corps to make the company grow positive as well as the individual. -glad you had a safe ride home. Rain is not our friend when we are on two wheels for sure. 😎🇺🇸

Thanks, Mark

Hi Steve:

Just finished Collector (2023) by Gabriel Silva. Good enough to recommend to you.

Hope all well with you.

Am prepping for my 25th visit to winter in SE Asia.

Managed to get two more books up on Net this year, last being major re-do of long out-of-print Motorcycle Sex, the spoof on Freud. After 30 years it's still a fun read for those who still read books. It's on Amazon.

I had a good and bad stay in the USA these last months. Bad was finding I've a wonky ticker which can quit at any time. Good was learning to appreciate the time left, as a mobile humanoid whose gray matter is still working, interfacing with quality and likeminded big thinkers in the collection of people I have met in the last 76 years. No longer do I suffer fools (even poorly). The Net is great for ghosting them.

Am looking at letting go my '31 Henderson, '47 Chief and 1960 R69S. I no long lust to ride them, merely pet them as I walk past.

Best to all in your circle.
