Out for a walk while Freddie visits the vet. Freddie has been expressing pain with a periodic whimper. The phenomenon comes and goes. TIMDT, not the vet, I think, nailed it. He gets sores which he will lick. As the sores heal, they scab. When he moves, he stretches the scab, which is painful. We will watch this phenomenon to confirm the diagnosis.
