Last week at Dave Strong Porche, SLC, with uber Porche salesman Ted Polevoy. There getting TIMDT's Cayenne serviced (bot, of course, from Ted). Bot many motorcycles and much motorcycle paraphernalia from Ted during his BMW motorcycle days. Ted was principle sponsor for my first Big Cat ride in 1999. True to form, Ted tried to sell me another car. Umm...not now...maybe next year! In the past, I never left Ted without walking out with something he sold me. And, I was never unhappy about the experience. Ted: the best kind of salesman.

Addendum:

My grandfather was a Civil War buff who read everything he could find on the period leading up to and following the war...as well as the war itself.
I also don't enjoy armchair analysts deconstructing notable people's conduct from a comfortable distance.
His interest in war came from his service in WWI when he lost a leg to a German canonball on a battlefield in France.
He never romanticized war but had deep respect for the people who for fought in them. Especially the soldiers who followed orders and did their best.
Thanks Steve.
