This of course, is what I'm talkin' 'bout. Deer Valley upping its grooming game. This ski patron offers thanks to DV groomers. Skied the three blacks (Reward, Evergreen, and Stein's Way (totally aerobic experience for me) plus Perserverence (aerobic enough at double blue) before working my way via Birdseye, Star Gazer and Bandana to my office at Empire Lodge. Rode a Sultan chair with The Mayor and Stem Kristie.

Also, kudos to the restaurant cashiers, who seem to be getting on top of their otherwise unwieldy point of sale terminals. All cashiers are nice and friendly, evidencing sustained, superior customer service ethic under the new management.

Thanks to Jose and team for consistent quality daily eggs and sausage at Snow Park Lodge.

Post break skied Magnet and Orion.

Just sayin', when you add the stellar new lift management, to the new, imaginative grooming regimen and the great service and good food, this could be the best year yet at Deer Valley. It is so good for Deer Valley to have shed the antiquated, elitist, inefficient, and irritating"don't you know who I am?" lift management culture.

Then again, my 40 lbs weight loss and above average snow conditions might have something to do with Deer Valley's stellar 2019/2020 ski season.

Icarus' wings were melting today at Snow Park Lodge. Hubris took him too close to the sun.

Good group at LSDM, Wasatch Bagel, this AM. F16, The Chemist, Baked Bean, 777, PGA, The Mayor, and Sock. Topic du jour: Effects of automation on human brain.

See US 40 heading up Daniel's Canyon at left. 330 miles from there, eastbound, to Steamboat Springs.

Pre break skied with FeeBee and Yellow Rose. Including two laps on Peeler, another in the long list of unannounced groomed runs at Deer Valley. Also skied North Star, another unannounced groomed run.

Very interesting, sitting on the chair lift, listening to two accomplished Moms talk about their accomplished kids.

Bishop's Office break at Empire Lodge. Joined by PGA, My Belle, The Mayor, Stem Christie, Sock, and Hunter Schafer.

Two non stop laps on Keno for aerobic effect.
