Deux Magots Walkers contemplating whether or not this statue should come down. Miners are responsible for Carbon pollution, a dirty practice diametrically opposed to Park City's ethic of clean air and environmental purity.

Park City, they feel, should consider that all references to miners be expunged from Park City communications. Also, closing the pernicious, Carbon promoting, Park City Museum and changing the name of PCHS's mascot should be contemplated.

Miner memes trigger fear in Deux Magots Walkers as they can't stand thinking about the possibility that their beloved Park City actually endorses a dirty, Carbon based life style.

Central Asian yellow rose bush in full bloom. These are ubiquitous throughout rural Utah. In 2014 I was thrilled to see them flourish at ground zero in rural Chechnya when I was motorcycling through there.

Greatest insight on walk comes from The Actuary. Apropos Peter Thiel's assertion in his recent talk to LSDM about the decline of technological progress in the world today. The Actuary attributes the phenomenon to detuning of out if the box (ADHD), high potential boys by medicating away their creative, entrepreneurial energy.

Its great to have this fabulous outdoor hiking/walking option in Park City during a time of disease risk wafting though Summit County. Outdoor transmission of the disease, provided physical distancing is maintained, is none to rare. Not so indoors in public or commercial establishments, where the county has deemed them at a higher than ordinary level of disease risk and required masks as a prerequisite to entry. Not willing to put myself at more than ordinary levels of disease risk, I, therefore, stay outdoors, home, or shop outside of the county where disease risk levels are attenuated. Also, thank goodness for Amazon.com! — in Park City, Utah.

Two men touch the Bald Eagle statue at Park City Mountain.

Asked what they were doing, one of them replied. "The bald eagle has long been a symbol of American liberty. We believe, like Ben Franklin, that the turkey is a far more representative symbol of America, particularly today.

The men then walked away.

The Deux Magots Walkers moved on to the next stage of their hike, shaking their heads in amazement at the strange scene they had just witnessed. — at Park City Mountain.

Old Town house. On two lots. Fabulous barn wood facing.
Above ground power a feature of Old Town. Last time I heard (as a current owner of an Old Town House) residents would have to pay approximately $2500 each to have power cables routed underground. But, above ground wiring part of the charm of Old Town. Can't see well from here, but, this house has solar panels on its roof. Old Town power.... a blend of the old and the new.
