(56) 28 February 2020. Skied with The Pope in equable temps on Bluebird day. Running out of superlatives for this incredible ski season. Good lift chair conversation with well read, well traveled, friend of forty years.

Eight fun things to do when skiing:
1. From standing stop, mid run, start skiing again without first looking up hill.
2. Do your S turns from one edge of the run to the other without ever glancing uphill as you turn.
3. Exit the trees at high speed onto a run without looking uphill as you enter the run. Race laterally across the run, without glancing up hill, to the other side before making your first down hill turn.
4. With fun loving friends, block skier access to a run having a narrow entrance. When a skier politely asks to pass through, insult him/her for being rude.
5. When skiing on a long cat track, approach skiers from behind, and then, just when coming up behind them, yell at the top of your lungs, "on your right!" Laugh as you pass by, watching them panic.
6. When seated on lift chair with others, swing your legs back and forth, causing the chair to wobble in synch.
7. With your party, enter the lift line, pass through the ticket check, and block the lift access, letting vacant chairs go by, as you wait for the straggler of your group.
8. At the beginning of a crowded lift line, show yourself to the still descending members of your group, about to finish their ski run by wildly waving your ski pole. Hit someone nearby in the head with your ski pole, but, make it look inadvertent.
