TIMDT: Walked 2 1/2 hrs off dirt road to hill tribe called Khamu. 37 families live in this village. 4 yrs ago they got electricity so now have satellite tv. They are self sustaining almost with chickens, pigs, vegetables and rice, banana trees growing wild in jungle, water from the river, bamboo and wood to make their houses and trapping small animals including rats to eat. Last picture they are drying grass to make brooms.
