Several years ago, I was in Malibu seeing one of my clients whose office was across the highway from Gladstone's. They suggested I visit the Getty Museum while I was there. When I got to the museum, the officials put me with a book club group from Pacific Palisades and I took a VIP tour with them. I spent 3-4 hours with the group and even joined their luncheon. A really civilized day and a nice break from my normal dog-eat dog existence. I especially remember Thomas Gainsborough's The Blue Boy. I also remember the fact that Rita Hayworth's mansion sat right next to the museum - a fitting home for someone who was a real star.
