Nap time. I hit a sleepy wall every afternoon. Old geezer needed to nap by the tree to use for assistance getting off the ground.

Bishop, Chris, 'n JK.

Chance meeting on Woodside with Chris and JK Kenworthy. All of us are homeowners on Woodside Avenue. We were buoyed by a recent $1900 per square foot Woodside residential sale, but JK, a 2X former LSDM speaker, warns of a "tidal wave" of new, top-quality units in Mayflower coming on stream starting in nine months. My own sense (hope?) is that there will always be a high demand for the funkiness of Old Town living and that Old Town property values will hold. JK, Park City Main Street business activist and owner of Flanigan's, asked me how I thought the mayor was doing. I replied that city council aspirant David Dobkin once told LSDM ROMEOs that a successful mayor rarely caused news. I said that I don't hear a lot about Mayor Worel so that must mean she's doing a good job. That is not to say that the city leaders aren't working hard and successfully on a lot of important stuff. I extend my personal thanks to Mayor Worel and the City Council for the hard work they are doing along with their commitment to public service. JK noted that whether Sundance stays or leaves, Park City Sundance revenues decline. Says JK: The Sundance staying option will inevitably include a new revenue sharing arrangement with less cut going to Park City. Still, keeping Sundance in Park City would be better than seeing it leave.

Topics du jour:
Welcome back Daggett.
Film. "Zone of Interest." Cinematographic technique: Like being a fly on the wall observing real life goings on.
Luka Doncic. The next level in basketball?
Merideth Reed, Park City School Board member. Push for more institutionalized DEI necessary?
In nine months over a thousand new, high quality, units coming on stream in Mayflower. Area wide property value impact?
Fritz' grandson Jack Footer on KPCW radio.
Roger's KPCW guest/topic today: Rep of Utah Symphony/Opera on implications of Abravanel Hall shutdown.
Summit County Council Dem primary race. McKenna versus Cooke. Glenn Wright. The race seems a toss-up. I'm backing Megan.
LSDM needs to schedule the Pub candidate for County Council, Ari Ioannides, for speaking engagement.
Consensus. Don't count on 2002-like Fed financed infrastructure for the upcoming 2034 Winter Olympics.
Huh? Free Style: "Summit County Attorney Margaret Olsen needs to go."

Great Pics!
