First time in 20 years of skiing DV that I've skied this link.

Unusual bluebird day:

Skied in the afternoon (1:00 PM to 3:00 PM) Gondola and Mt'eer Lift on wind hold.

Snow: sticky, powder, ice, corn, cream, clumps.

40 degrees ambient, but high winds firmed corn.

Never a dull moment when skiing during Spring.

REFLECTIONS FROM THE LIFT: I loved the DV restaurant service upgrades this year. Keep doing it. If you have to raise prices to offset the lost revenues from unruly and unsanitary buffet service, do it!

Break and post break skiing with Daggett and 777.

Very cold last night and this AM. Mostly hard snow skiing. Caught Magnet, post break, just right.

REFLECTIONS FROM THE LIFT: Yes, skiing is about physical effort, braving the elements, skill, and all that. But, skiing is also about viewing breathtaking scenery and time for reflection (alone) or social engagement while riding the lift chair.
