Sonny, here, has just completed a discussion of things Philippines to Park City ROMEO group, La Societe Deux Magots (LSDM).

Sonny, Manila, Philippines, is on holiday in Park City with two of his four children, their spouses, and three grandchildren.

Steve IV is a Park City resident, son of Steve III who was a Citibank co-trainee with Sonny in Manila in the late 1960's.

FINCO - Ailing auto finance company, 40% owned by Citi. Cut overheads, strengthened credit standards, energized and trained sales force, re balanced interest rate risk, developed pass through investment to stay within capital requirement. Good - and successful - experience. FINCO restored to sustained profitability.

Sonny combined decency, decorum, and high personal standards with capability and expertise. He went on to become one of the Philippines leading bankers.

I really enjoyed meeting up with him again.

Sonny was also TIMDT's accounting teacher for her MBA program at Ateneo de Manila University. She passed.
