Walter Reuther (Glenn Wright) is getting ready to announce his run for Summit County Commissioner in November. Walter Reuther, a former Vietnam pilot, walks his talk.

Above: Title. On 64th birthday and 100th day of skiing this season. 09 March 2016. Title has held a Park City season pass during each of its 52 seasons to date. Title is a Pices.... which accounts for his curmudgeonly demeanor. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_uk2LkW2tm8

Above: Espresso and Ski Patroller come to TIMDT's aid on Lookout run. Park City Ski Area. 10 March 2016.

TIMDT took a tumble, around 1;00 PM, post lunch at Lookout Cabin, on the very slushy and, thus, hard to ski run. She slid over 100 yards down the steep run before she stopped. She was OK... she donned her skis and poles, brought to her by Espresso and the Ski Patroller, and skied the rest of the way out.

The Bishop fell in slushy snow earlier just above the Red Pine Lodge. You have to pay attention in the slush!

Still, the early AM, pre lunch, runs were great. We took six runs off of the 1800 vertical foot Super Condor Lift before a break at Sun Peak Lodge. Runs included Kestrel, Apex Ridge, and Spider Monkey... all double blues.

Above: The Crazy Cook, Landslide, Stockli, and Espresso. First Time lift summit. Park City Ski Area. 11 March 2016.

First day skiing this season with and Stockli and Crazy Cook.

Stockli. Missed all of last season and most of this one due to a slow healing knee injury (not a ski accident). Now he's back... tentatively... resting a bit on each run and leaving the mountain by 11:00 AM. He really looks good... like his old self... as he skis. Skiing is important to Stockli. Its good to see him work his way back.

Crazy Cook: #2 guy at Wasatch Bagel and Tarahumara Restaurant. Big shot in Amway sales. Goes around the country giving speeches and has 200 or 300 people as part of his own sales organization. Type of 1st generation immigrant US needs... one that adds value. Need more of 'em as the millennials drop the ball. My first skiing experience with the Crazy Cook was about five years ago when he first started skiing. I watched in amazement as he straight lined, arms and poles held high and out, down Prospector.

Spring skiing. PC temps to reach 60 degrees today. Good work out today. Snow great up high. Softer snow towards the bottom takes a lot of effort... the good kind.

Mwah (sic) and Espresso joined TIMDT for lunch at Ruths Chris. I went for a pedicure and later helped TIMDT for some food shopping.

Addendum:

Hi Steve. Is the "70 something who runs a major US hotel group" fellow you refer to as Montage? There is an article in the February 26th edition of the Pacific Business News (Honolulu) about the Spa Montage Kapalua Bay Hotel as being only the sixth spa in Hawaii to ever get 4 star status. The story includes an interview with Richard "Dick" Holtzman who runs the hotel. Thought your friend might want to know.
