Reflections on the British Monarchy

A national culture is the sum of its cultural, political and religious institutions. The British monarchy is an institution which backstops one of the most successful cultures in the history of the world. Britain alone gave rise to the industrial revolution, the benefits of which to modern civilization are incalculable. As today's progressives are wont to dismantle western institutions, such as the British monarchy, the question emerges, what will they substitute into the vacuum? The Christian religion, a long standing Western cultural institution like the British monarchy, is also under attack by progressives. As G. K. Chesterton famously noted, "When men stop believing in God, they don't believe in nothing; they believe in anything." "Anything can mean, well "anything..." most of which is bad. Be careful what you wish for if you see ongoing destruction of western institutions, including the British monarchy and Christianity, as a good thing.

PS. If the British monarchy is a good thing... something to be retained, its current members, for the most part are stains on the institution. King Charles is a globalist in thrall to Charles Schwab and the World Economic Forum, not to mention his moral flaccidness in having abandoned his wife for another. Charles's brother Andrew is a scorned pedophile. Charles's son, Prince Harry, has given over his life to a hyper narcissist, gold digger wife intent on bringing down the British monarchy for her personal gain. Summed up? "Monarchy good. Charles and family bad."
