The Coming Era of Echo Chamber Social Media

You will never see a social media platform where conservatives and liberals cooperate to seek truth in civil discussion. As the Twitter experiment crumbles under Elon Musk, "a thousand" echo chamber online discussion groups will thrive. Liberals will go to Tumblr. Conservatives will go elsewhere. Parler; Truth Social; GETTR. GETTR is pretty good as a "conservative free speech" platform. I'm an active GETTR user. I'm also on Twitter, but I believe interest in Twitter will wane as Musk tries to make the now liberally biased social media platform become all things to all people. The good news is that as Twitter wanes, local mores and ethics, mostly in so-called red states, will undergird a growing conservative echo chamber conversation to offset liberal social media discussion. As he has no hope of bringing the two sides together, perhaps Elon Musk should seek to use his acquisition to dominate the conservative echo chamber space.
