The "troublesome" revelations about the US military seem to be increasing.

1. Inept and costly Afghanistan withdrawal
2. Milley back-door communications with Chinese about "capriciousness" of his boss.
3. Recruiting shortfalls.
4. Obsession with "woke" and "white supremacists" while seemingly understating CCP risks.
5. UFO (balloons?) snafu.
6. Increasing arms shipments to Ukraine sans public discussion on US readiness impact.
7. Apparent holdup on taking out first balloon (as reported) despite putative Biden orders to do so. ie. who is running the show?

If I were a state governor today, I'd put on my to do list a project to determine what capability I could build with my air national guard to protect the skies over my state given seeming US ambivalence, not to mention incompetence, about enemy overflies of US territory.
