Why Trump shouldn't attempt to smooth out his personality

He is who he is because of what he is. Changing what he is would render him ineffective. He's the only guy in the last three decades to step up to challenge the amoral, self-dealing, administrative state. He, alone, reaped the whirlwind where no one else did or could. No Pub on the horizon, including DeSantis, is even close to having the skills, fighting spirit, thick skin, love of country yada to beat back the howling, angry, ascendant socialists. I agree with Fred that DeSantis would make a good apprentice if he had the humility to stay in the background and was perceived as showing loyalty to his boss... a tough ask.
