Ducks have right of way.

Mayflower is overseen by the state’s Military Installation Development Authority (MIDA), which was initially started to spur development by nearby Hill Air Force Base. MIDA was later expanded by the state legislature to include the ski resort, which will have a hotel with discounts for active and former military. Extell is the Mayflower developer. It purchased the resort property in 2017. Mayflower resort will be managed by Deer Valley, with Deer Valley naming, and be open for operation 25/26 ski season. Deer Valley will, effectively, double in size to around 800 skiable acres.

I enjoyed the novel as a riveting page turner, as a compelling study into the nature of invention, as a cogent review of the intricacies of patent law, as a comprehensible tutorial on electricity, for raising the question in my mind about the role of skullduggery and subterfuge in business, and for fostering vigorous reflection on the nature of technological progress.

I almost stepped on this little fellow who was in the middle of the trail.

As he ruminates about the construction of his Irma Hotel in Cody, WY, Buffalo Bill's language seems a little harsh in today's politically correct world. But then, Buffalo Bill, were he living today, might be tempted to pass stern judgement on us as we allow homeless encampments outside of luxury digs in our major cities.
