Stephen's Thoughts

Anxious first day at seventy-nine years of age. As one grows older, one wonders if the muscle memory will return, if the stamina is there and the balance is functioning. I start today with but six runs and plan to work my way up by one more run each day until fifteen or sixteen runs at which point I'll ski most days at that level. With fifteen runs and a twenty-minute mid AM break, starting at 9:00 AM, I'm handing in my skis at the locker t 11:30 AM. Today was a good start. I skied easy runs and stayed upright during the entire effort.

Family is at the center of our universe. There is no success in life that outshines success in the home where, chez nous, TIMDT has been our quarterback. Once again, today, TIMDT put big family points on the board.

Trump victory in yesterday's US presidential election. Good day to be an American.

Bling and Lubbock, Albuquerque residents, told us about their attendance at a Trump Rally in Albuquerque that AM. We regretted missing the rally. As ardent Trump supporters, had we known about it, we might have altered our plans to be there. Trump surprised a lot of people by coming to ordinarily solid blue New Mexico. Pubs have high hopes for Hispanics, hardworking, and nuclear family oriented, moving red. Perhaps Trump knows something we don't.
